Overview

Contact Supervisor - Children in Care. 4Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for Contact Supervisors to work across the Leicestershire area.

Pay Rates: £14.83 per hour - £18.68 per hour Umbrella rate.

Responsibilities

• Transporting and supervising children and young people in care for contact with their parents, carers or others as identified in the care plan.
• Collecting and safely transporting children from their placement to the contact venue and returning them when the contact has concluded.
• Supervising the contact between the children and their parents and ensuring that contact requirements and procedures are followed.
• Providing a written report on the required template detailing how the contact proceeded.
• Reporting any safeguarding concerns that arise during the contact to the Contact Manager and the allocated social worker.
• Assisting with the service duty arrangements.
• Using various computer applications as required.
• Ensuring contact rooms are kept tidy and conform with Health and Safety requirements.
• Attending training sessions as and when required.
• Carrying out any other duties that fall within the scope of the job and the grade.

Specialist knowledge, skills and experience

• Must be able to provide reports that can be used in court proceedings.
