NHS CONSULTANT RADIOLOGIST – MIDLANDS

Our services have been appointed by an NHS Trust in the Midlands to help recruit them a Consultant General Radiologist, either on a Substantive or NHS Fixed Term basis.

Our client has excellent professional and academic links with a nearby University Hospital which boasts a first class modern education and conference facility within the Trusts Training and Education Centre on the main hospital site.

Our client has spent over £5m over the past couple of years investing in the Department and upgrading is CT, MRI, Ultrasound and Interventional Radiology equipment. All Radiologists are provided with personal office equipped with individual PACS workstation and high speed internet access.

The CT and MRI suites within the Department of Clinical Imaging & Interventional Radiology are sued as a national reference centre for Siemens Medical System for site visits. These facilities were completed in 2015 and 2016 respectively and are of excellent quality. All four scanners are equipped with the latest hardware and software for their classes

Newly appointed Consultants will benefit from a mentorship programme to ensure there is full support on commencement in post. The Department encourages very flexible working or annualised job plan.

At present, the Department would be most benefitted if any prospective candidate has got special interest in Interventional Radiology/Cross Sectional Imaging with skills to perform biopsies and drainages or MSK Radiology, but would also accommodate any other particular special interests.
