A leading NHS health board in Wrexham is seeking an NHS Consultant specializing in Palliative Care. The role includes leading weekly ward rounds, providing medical leadership for a specialist team, and contributing to an advice line for healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will possess GMC registration, relevant teaching qualifications, and skills in medical oncology. This position offers a competitive salary of £110,240 to £160,951 per annum, with options for full or part-time hours.
This is a substantive, NHS Consultant post with an option to work full or part time hours inWrexham Maelor Hospital.
The North Wales Specialist Palliative Care service is constantly evolving and this post, in conjunction with existing posts, will strengthen the Palliative Medicine Consultant team sitting within the Department of Palliative Care. The post holder will work closely with Palliative Medicine Consultants across North Wales supported by a number of Speciality Doctors and the Specialist Nursing Team.
