The Cervical Cytology department at Manchester University Foundation Trust is seeking a Consultant Biomedical Scientist to join our team. The department is UKAS‑accredited and IBMS‑approved for training, processes approximately 470,000 requests per year and produces roughly 70,000 cervical cytology slides using the Hologic ThinPrep LBC system. The position contributes to quality improvement and research activities within the cervical screening programme.
Position available full‑time or part‑time with required flexibility to work within departmental opening hours of 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
