Site Manager Responsibilities

• Lead on site execution of construction projects, managing all day-to-day site activities
• Communicate effectively with the client, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery
• Ensure full compliance with health and safety procedures, including risk assessments, method statements and site inspections
• Monitor progress against programme, budgets and quality standards
• Coordinate subcontractor work, materials and site logistics
• Prepare and deliver regular reports on progress, issues and mitigation plans
• Ensure all site documentation (permitting, site records, safety logs) is maintained accurately
• Act as the main point of contact for the project, supply chain and other stakeholders
• Promote and enforce a safety-first culture on site

What We Are Looking For

Experience and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager or Site Agent on construction projects, ideally with experience in refurbishment works and civils.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and practice (for example SMSTS, First Aid or equivalent)
• Must hold relevant tickets and certifications such as SMSTS and First Aid appropriate for site management
• Strong technical construction knowledge with the ability to interpret drawings, specifications and construction methods
• Computer literate with experience using site and project management software as well as good Microsoft Office skills
• Trade experience preferred but not essential.
• Driving License is essential.
