Overview

Lantz Construction Company of Winchester (LCW) is looking for an experienced Construction Superintendent to manage local projects in and around Winchester, Virginia.

We are a leader in our industry and are seeking a candidate with a strong track record of successfully overseeing commercial construction projects.

What you'll do

• Lead project safety by ensuring all policies are followed and a strong safety culture is maintained on the job site.

• Supervise personnel and subcontractors to meet quality and project requirements.

• Manage materials by ordering, maintaining inventory, and approving invoices.

• Maintain project documentation including daily logs, inspections, and other records.

• Review project plans and coordinate with various trades.

• Drive the project schedule to meet deadlines and milestones.

• Host meetings with subcontractors, owners, and LCW management.

• Occasional hands on work may be required.

Who you are

• You have at least 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent on projects valued at $5 million or more.

• Must have a valid Driver License and reliable transportation.

• You are a strong leader with a keen eye for detail.

• You can read and interpret blueprints and specifications.

• You are comfortable working in both a field and office environment with a working knowledge of computers and construction management software.

• You are able to lift, push, pull, or lower up to 50 lbs.
