Job summary

A leading recruitment firm is seeking an experienced Rail Construction Manager to oversee HV projects in the South East Region. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience with HV switchgear installations and a strong background in managing Network Rail infrastructure projects. This role requires on-site presence 2-3 days a week and is not a site supervisor position.

Overview

PSR Rail Team are currently recruiting for a Rail Construction Manager in the South East Region. This role is with a Tier 1 Rail Contractor, covering HV projects across the South East Region.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HV switchgear installations in line with Network Rail standards.
• Review and approve construction documentation (programmes, method statements, ITPs).
• Lead and manage project teams, ensuring resources and budgets are aligned to timelines.
• Uphold high standards in health & safety compliance and company policies.
• Provide on-site presence 2-3 days a week as required.

Important Notes

• This is not a site supervisor role - we need a seasoned Construction Manager.
• HV switchgear installation experience is essential - not cabling.
• Must have a strong background with Network Rail infrastructure projects.
