Are you a seasoned Construction Lawyer ready for your next big move? We’re on the lookout for a sharp legal mind to join a thriving, forward-thinking company in Newcastle. As part of a compact, dynamic legal team, you’ll be embedded in the business, playing a pivotal role in driving success and safeguarding operations across high-value international construction projects.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Every day is different. From reviewing global project appointments to advising cross-functional teams, you’ll be immersed in the business, helping shape projects from inception to delivery. Expect to:

  • Draft, review and negotiate major project agreements and contracts.
  • Advise stakeholders across the business on a wide variety of construction-related legal matters.
  • Implement and refine legal risk management policies.
  • Lead or support team management (depending on experience).
  • Jump into wider legal challenges, from property and IPR to data protection and debt recovery.
  • Contribute to strategic, business-wide legal initiatives.

Who We’re Looking For:

A confident, capable, and collaborative Construction Lawyer with:

  • 4+ years of post-qualification experience.
  • Strong knowledge of construction law, especially relating to professional appointments and standard form contracts.
  • Bonus points if you’ve worked in a consultancy or in-house with a client or contractor.
  • A practical, solutions-focused mindset with top-tier communication skills.
  • The ability to juggle complex projects and tight deadlines with confidence and clarity.
