A leading service company in the UK is seeking a Composite Technician to join their team at RAF Brize Norton. The role involves conducting structural and composite repairs on C-17 aircraft and requires relevant experience in laminating and trimming composite materials. Candidates must have at least a Level 3 qualification in composite repairs and preferably have experience in the armed forces or a related industry. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

£44,000 Producer - Technician
At RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire, Serco has been providing multi-activity and engineering support since 1997.Serco proudly supports the RAF and MoD, supplying around 20 different services onsite, from engine and aircraft maintenance, to fuelling and ground control services.RAF Brize Norton is the largest operating base within the Royal Air Force, providing air transport and air-to-air refuelling to the RAF fleet, and as an Aircraft Structures Technician, you will contribute enormously to the vital work carried out here. You'll also be part of the wider team, with 5,800 service personnel, 1,200 contractors and 300 civil servants on site.
The bay is responsible for RAF Brize Norton C-17 aircraft structural and composite repairs. Work is carried out within the structures bay and on the aircraft, both in the hangar and on the line. The team are required to work at height and in confined spaces on the C-17 aircraft.

MoD Security Clearance. Due to the nature of the organisation, all employees of Serco are required to be security cleared to SC level. If successful in your application, we would support you with the SC process. As a guideline only, you would normally need to have been a UK resident for the last 5 consecutive years.
