Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in technical systems or raw material management in food manufacturing.
• Strong leadership and people development experience required.
• In-depth knowledge of food defence practices including TACCP and VACCP.

The Opportunity

This is a critical role that blends technical leadership, compliance management, and raw material oversight. You'll take ownership of our site's Quality Management System, internal audits, and raw material performance-ensuring our operations not only meet industry standards but lead them.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and continuously improve the site Quality Management System
• Lead internal audits, HACCP, traceability, and compliance systems
• Ensure audit readiness and support all external food safety and quality audits
• Lead the Technical Analysts and Raw Material QA team, developing skills and performance
• Drive technical data accuracy, traceability, and raw materials quality assurance

The Ideal Candidate

• Degree/HND in a food-related subject or equivalent experience
• Level 4 HACCP & Level 4 Food Safety (essential)
• Minimum 2 years' experience in technical systems or raw material management in food manufacturing
• Strong leadership and people development experience
• In-depth knowledge of TACCP, VACCP, and food defence practices
• Excellent planning, auditing, and communication skills
• Confident using Microsoft Office and ideally Power BI
