The OpportunityThis is a critical role that blends technical leadership, compliance management, and raw material oversight. You'll take ownership of our site's Quality Management System, internal audits, and raw material performance-ensuring our operations not only meet industry standards but lead them.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and continuously improve the site Quality Management System
- Lead internal audits, HACCP, traceability, and compliance systems
- Ensure audit readiness and support all external food safety and quality audits
- Lead the Technical Analysts and Raw Material QA team, developing skills and performance
- Drive technical data accuracy, traceability, and raw materials quality assurance
The Ideal CandidateWe believe that success is built upon collaboration and diverse perspectives. At Samworth Brothers, we welcome candidates who are passionate about working together to achieve greatness. As a valued member of our team, you will bring the following skills and experience: -
- Degree/HND in a food-related subject or equivalent experience
- Level 4 HACCP & Level 4 Food Safety (essential)
- Minimum 2 years' experience in technical systems or raw material management in food manufacturing
- Strong leadership and people development experience
- In-depth knowledge of TACCP, VACCP, and food defence practices
- Excellent planning, auditing, and communication skills
- Confident using Microsoft Office and ideally Power BI
