Compliance Manager (Windsor Framework)
Location: Hybrid - 3 days office, 2 days WFH (Greater Belfast area)

MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting for a Compliance Manager (Windsor Framework) on behalf of a leading FMCG business in Northern Ireland that focuses on 4 key industries of business - Wholesale, Retail, Alcohol & Food Service

This is a key role within the compliance function, ensuring the business continues to trade in line with Windsor Framework and HMRC requirements. You\'ll play a critical part in protecting the company both financially and reputationally, while supporting a strategy of long-term, sustainable growth.

The ideal candidate would be a commercially minded individual coming from a Trading background or similar. The successful candidate will have experience of Windsor Framework legislative compliance and experience supporting the provision of related revenue, and duty compliance.

The Role

As Compliance Manager, you will:

• Lead Windsor Framework compliance across distribution, retail partners, and acquisitions.
• Work with external consultants, suppliers, and HMRC to ensure full compliance with legislation.
• Partner with internal teams (Trading, Supply Chain, Warehouse Operations, Finance) to manage documentation, due diligence, and tariff processes.
• Provide reports, maintain accurate records, and support internal/external audits.
• Manage and develop a small compliance team, driving standards and continuous improvement.

What you need

We are looking for a compliance professional with:

• A business-related degree (Business, Supply Chain, Audit) or equivalent experience.
• Experience in FMCG compliance within a wholesale/retail environment.
• Knowledge of customs, Windsor Framework requirements, and duty processes.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to influence stakeholders and communicate clearly across all levels.
