Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a similar compliance role, ideally from a legal background although not essential.
  • Excellent IT skills including MS Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel).
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor Anti Money Laundering and maintain client identification documents.
  • Conduct audits and reviews to ensure documentation accuracy.
  • Perform client due diligence on new and existing clients.
  • Provide compliance support and data entry.
  • Manage legal documents and correspondence.

Overview

Thrive Trowbridge are delighted to be working with our client in Devizes, who are actively seeking to engage a Compliance Assistant (legal) to provide essential support across the firm.

Responsibilities
  • Anti Money Laundering Monitoring - collecting, reviewing and maintaining client identification documents, ensuring they meet "Know Your Customer" (KYC) requirements
  • Audits and Reviews to ensure documentation is accessible and accurate
  • Client due diligence on new and existing clients
  • Compliance support
  • Data Entry, inputting and maintaining accurate legal data
  • Document management to include update and maintenance of legal documents, files and correspondence
  • Filing, reporting and regulatory updates
What you will need to succeed
  • Proven experience in a similar compliance role, ideally from a legal background although not essential
  • The ability to work under pressure with ever changing deadlines
  • Excellent IT skills including MS Office (word/outlook and excel)
  • First rate communication skills, verbal and written
  • A confidential approach
