Job summary

A community healthcare provider in Bradford is seeking a Therapy Assistant to support the multidisciplinary team in delivering therapeutic services. The ideal candidate will have experience in mental health environments and possess excellent patient care and communication skills. Qualifications

  • Experience of working in Adult Mental Health or Rehabilitation services.
  • Experience of dealing with the public.
  • Experience of facilitating groups.
  • Experience of working within a therapy team.

Responsibilities

  • Support the multidisciplinary team in therapy services.
  • Assess patients and carry out interventions.
  • Maintain high standards in a safe environment.

Skills

Effective patient/client care skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently demonstrating initiative, decision making, and prioritisation skills
Knowledge of different roles of Allied Health Professions

Education

NVQ III in care; QCF diploma level 111 or equivalent
Numeracy and literacy skills at level 2
