COMMUNITY OLD AGE CONSULTANT PSYCHIATRIST OACMHT - CENTRAL

Location: 26 Gubbins Lane, Harold Wood, Essex, RM3 0QA

Salary: £109,725 - £145,478 per annum (Pro-rata)

Contract: Substantive

Hours: Full-time: 10 Programmed Activities (DCC:SPA = 7.5:2.5)

On call: Frequency 1:50 Category A - 3% on call supplement (Pro-rata)

Job responsibilities

You will be expected to:

  • Work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to older adult people with mental health needs, across Havering - Central.
  • Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team
  • Work directly with older adults and their families and liaise as appropriate with other external older adult mental health providers and acute hospitals
  • Participate in the on-call rota (frequency 1:50) with a 3% basic salary on-call supplement
  • Support peers and team leader, and be an effective team member while allowing others to work with their own initiative
  • Commit to collaborative working, actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals and agencies
