The Role

As a Community Nurse (Oncology), youll provide safe, compassionate care to patients in their own homes.

Youll play a vital role in supporting their independence, monitoring progress, and ensuring they receive the highest standards of care.

Key responsibilities
  • Pre-chemotherapy blood sampling
  • Monitoring patients and updating care records
  • Escalating concerns promptly when required
  • Supporting patients health, wellbeing, and independence
  • Collaborating with colleagues, families, and healthcare professionals
What Youll Need
  • Active NMC registration
  • At least 3 years post-registration experience
  • Port-a-cath, PICC line and venepuncture competency (essential)
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available)

Desirable: Previous oncology nursing experience
