A leading healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a registered Mental Health Nurse to assess and support older individuals with mental health issues. You will provide psychological interventions, liaise with professionals, and safely administer medications in community settings. Ideal candidates are committed to working with older people and possess excellent communication skills. This role includes travel, so a valid driving license is required.
This post will include assessing older people referred to our service and working with an allocated caseload of existing service users, providing low level psychological interventions and/or memory assessments, and liaising with other professionals to coordinate care. You will need to safely administer medication in a community setting, engage in medicines management, and monitor physical health.
