A leading charity organization in South Yorkshire is seeking a Volunteer Administrative Support to help with fundraising efforts. About The Role

Are you organised and do you enjoy administrative tasks? Do you want to be part of a team, providing administration support to staff and volunteers raising funds for Alzheimer’s Society.

If so, this could be the role for you? In this role you will provide key day to day administrative support such as sending and receiving emails, using the telephone and engaging with supporters. You will also use your skills to research information, update databases and promote fundraising activities in the community. We ask for a commitment of 3-5 hours per week.

What you will be doing
  • A variety of administration tasks such as receiving and sending mail and making telephone calls.
  • Updating our fundraising supporter database and engaging with existing supporters.
  • Researching the local community for potential new supporters including community groups, companies and educational establishments.
  • Sharing information and promoting local fundraising activities in the local community both virtually and in person.

You’ll be great for the role if:

  • You are friendly, approachable and enthusiastic about fundraising and engaging with the community.
  • Are proactive, flexible and enjoy being part of a team.
  • Are confident using computers, including Microsoft packages, and talking to people on the telephone.
  • Have experience working or volunteering in an administrative role or are looking to develop your administrative skills.
  • You are over the age of 16.
