Overview

We are looking for a Monday - Friday Community Chemotherapy Nurse in the Luton area who is qualified in administering chemo with a salary up to £44,500 with either a company car or a car allowance of £4,877 plus excellent benefits. You will be joining a nationally recognised specialist provider as part of their exciting growth plans. In this role you will be working for one of the biggest partners to the NHS, assisting patients in the comfort of their own home.

As a Chemotherapy Nurse, you will oversee a caseload of patients, providing excellent standards of education and clinical care and making a difference to patients\' lives every single day. You will administer a range of haematological and solid tumour treatments, as defined in the patient\'s care plan whilst sustaining professional standards.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee a caseload of patients receiving chemotherapy in the home setting

Key criteria for a Community Chemotherapy Nurse
  • Registered General Nurse with active NMC PIN
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Experience of community-based work is desirable but not essential
  • Qualified in administering Cytotoxic drugs
  • Cannulate and have experience undertaking clinical assessments
