Description

ELEMIS is seeking a strategic Communications Manager to support the Head of Communications in shaping and executing the annual communications strategy, with a focus on trade, business, and industry media. This role will be pivotal in elevating the brand’s profile through thought leadership, executive profiling, and strategic storytelling, while also supporting internal communications.

What Will You Do?
  • Support the Head of Communications to create the annual strategy for trade and business media, whilst working with the wider omni-channel marketing teams to amplify activity across channels
  • Secure strong and meaningful business press coverage in key publications through storytelling that drives compelling narratives and product placement
  • Maintain and expand relationships with key trade, business media and industry contacts.
  • Work with Head of Communications and Director of Communications & Content to develop a thought leadership strategy to support the brand founders
  • Proactively pitch the ELEMIS Founders and C-Suite for relevant speaking and profiling opportunities, support on scripting.
  • Support with crisis management and crisis communication planning
  • Identify macro and micro trends in the media landscape, using them to strengthen ELEMIS brand voice
  • Manage both proactive and reactive communications to protect and enhance brand reputation.
  • Work with the annual budget, alongside the Head of Communications, to ensure budgets are not exceeded
  • Liaise with the local communications and marketing teams on a daily/weekly basis to ensure plans are consistent across markets
  • Collaborate with People Team on best-in-class Internal Communications
  • Coordinate the production of monthly global, internal newsletter
  • Work in partnership with Group Corporate Communications team to tailor content for group audiences
  • Develop & manage ELEMIS LinkedIn Content Calendar and page
The Perfect Candidate
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in beauty and lifestyle communications – including strong relationships with industry, trade and business press and relevant communities
  • Excellent and up-to-date understanding of the communications landscape, with knowledge of the beauty industry
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail with a strategic mindset
  • Experience in luxury skincare or beauty
