A leading law firm with a global client base across the life sciences and technology sectors is seeking a Communications Assistant to join its busy Marketing & BD team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a central role in a major internal communications project — the development and roll-out of a new SharePoint-based intranet platform.

The Responsibilities:

  • Support the build and structure of new intranet pages, liaising with teams across the firm to gather, edit and upload content.
  • Maintain consistency of tone, accessibility, and brand standards across all communications.
  • Own and maintain the firm’s central internal calendar, ensuring all events are captured and up to date.
  • Coordinate feedback, action requests, and updates to intranet content.
  • Assist with drafting internal announcements and provide support for communications campaigns and events.
  • Contribute to reporting, analytics, and wider communications initiatives.

The Candidate:

  • Previous experience in a marketing, communications, or administrative role, ideally within professional services.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident liaising with stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
  • Organised, proactive, and comfortable working across multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with digital platforms (experience with SharePoint an advantage but not essential).
