A UK university is seeking a Communications and Events Manager to oversee communications and organize impactful events. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience in event planning, and the ability to manage diverse projects. This role involves executing campaigns, managing digital content, and coordinating events to enhance student recruitment efforts. The post of Communications and Events Manager will see you managing communications across several platforms and stakeholder groups which include staff, students and partners. You’ll also be the University’s go-to person for planning and coordinating events, working on exciting projects ranging from Open Days to Staff Awards ceremonies.
The successful candidate will need to balance a varied workload, and regularly employ their strong written and verbal communication skills. Being organised will be a must, as will working closely with your marketing and communications teammates in the Directorate for Student Recruitment.
