The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Commis Chef to join our talented kitchen team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their culinary career in a professional and supportive environment. As a Commis Chef, you’ll gain hands-on experience across a range of restaurant styles within Jarrolds, learning from experienced chefs and developing the skills needed to progress within our kitchens.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist chefs in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes to company standards.
  • Maintain the highest levels of food hygiene and safety at all times.
  • Support day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring smooth service.
  • Learn and apply new culinary techniques and skills under the guidance of senior chefs.
  • Contribute to menu development and seasonal specials when appropriate.
  • Keep all work areas clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a dynamic kitchen team across multiple restaurant concepts.
