Rate of pay / Hours: £12.30 per hour, 20 hours a week, Generous Company Benefits, Training & Development

Location: Manchester Deansgate

Malmaison Manchester Deansgate is set to become the newest member of the Mal family, featuring 70 design-lead rooms, an iconic Chez Mal Bar and Brasserie and the SORA rooftop Sky Bar & Asian-Fusion Restaurant. This property promises to deliver the style and fun you expect from Mal along with exciting new developments.

We are now recruiting team members ahead of opening. This is a fantastic opportunity to be a key part of the pre-opening team, shaping your department’s success. You will benefit from a bespoke, tailored training and development plan that starts prior to opening and continues after our first guests arrive.

Responsibilities
  • Join a pre-opening team and contribute to building and shaping your department.
  • Participate in a tailored training and development plan starting before opening and continuing after opening.
  • Attend team member recruitment events if invited (events planned for August); one-to-one interviews with the department head and management team.
  • Complete 2 weeks of training away from the hotel at another Mal property to learn all aspects of Mal.
  • Complete 2 weeks of hands-on practice in the new hotel with the rest of the team to prepare the department for opening.
  • Adapt to fast-paced, dynamic pre-opening environments while maintaining high standards.
