Looking for your next challenge in vehicle maintenance? At Tru7 Group, we’re expanding our skilled workshop team and looking for a Commercial Van Technician to help keep our modern fleet moving safely and efficiently.

Working in our busy Ipswich workshop, you’ll maintain and repair a wide range of vans and light commercial vehicles, ensuring they’re always ready for work. You’ll carry out inspections, diagnose faults, complete repairs, and help us deliver a reliable, first-class service across the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Servicing, inspecting, and repairing commercial vans and light vehicles
  • Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using the latest tools and software
  • Ensuring all work meets DVSA and company safety standards
  • Supporting with quick turnarounds and breakdown repairs when required
  • Maintaining accurate service and inspection records

Upholding strict health and safety standards and keeping the workshop organised.

This apprenticeship focuses on maintaining, servicing, and repairing light vehicles in line with manufacturer and industry standards. Apprentices will learn how to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, carry out routine maintenance, and complete complex repairs. Combining classroom study with workshop-based training, the role provides practical experience with modern tools and diagnostic equipment.
