Commercial Sales Executive
Location: Wimbledon
Hours: 08:45-17:00
Reports to: Group Head of Sales / Sales Director
Salary: £28k - £32k + Commission
Role Overview
The Commercial Executive will focus on generating new business through the sale of exhibition stand space and sponsorship packages. The role is responsible for driving revenue, building strong client relationships, and contributing to the growth and development of the exhibition in alignment with the commercial strategy set by senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Generation
- Sell exhibition stand space and sponsorship opportunities to new and existing clients.
- Achieve and exceed individual and team revenue targets and KPIs.
- Conduct 60 calls or 90 minutes of outbound calling per day to maintain a strong activity level.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to build a robust sales pipeline.
- Create compelling and tailored proposals that clearly communicate value.
- Respond promptly to incoming sales enquiries from web and direct channels.
Client Relationship Management
- Arrange and attend sales meetings (virtual or in person) to understand client objectives and recommend solutions.
- Manage existing customer relationships throughout the full show cycle.
- Build strong rapport and trust with clients to maximise satisfaction and return on investment.
- Ensure all customer enquiries are handled efficiently and professionally.
Account & CRM Management
- Accurately record all customer and account information within the CRM system.
- Maintain and update CRM data to ensure quality and completeness.
- Plan and prioritise daily activities to strengthen client relationships and maximise sales productivity.
Marketing & Commercial Support
- Contribute to the development and execution of effective marketing strategies to promote exhibition offerings.
- Support the creation of marketing communications aimed at generating leads and nurturing existing clients.
Other Responsibilities
- Travel internationally when required for meetings, events, and exhibitions.
- Undertake additional ad-hoc tasks as required by the business.
