Overview

Commercial Manager - Frozen Bakery

Backed by investments and partnerships with some of the world’s largest bakery manufacturers, this London based company is experiencing a substantial period of growth.

About the Commercial Manager role

Reporting directly to the group CEO, the Commercial Manager’s main responsibility will be to introduce the company’s products to the foodservice and retail channels in the UK and grow sales to a substantial level. You will drive and deliver sales, revenue, and profit targets as well as building a sales team to assist with company growth. You will require strong negotiation, forecasting, and collaboration skills as well as strong leadership and coaching skills.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and support a developing sales team to ensure company growth by setting and achieving ambitious targets and taking accountability for company forecasting and performance.
  • Successfully promote and gain new business through retail accounts and foodservice wholesalers, secure new clients by expanding product distribution.
  • Negotiate and agree terms to maximise profitable sales growth and exceed targets.
  • Use shopper insights and trends to influence buying decisions, strengthen customer partnerships, and drive brand visibility.
  • Ensure strong execution of promotions and product launches, improving on-shelf availability, product presence and overall performance.
Qualifications / About You
  • The successful candidate shall have a commercial or sales background with proven results gaining and retaining clients into the frozen bakery sector.
  • A good track record of expanding and managing a sales team.
