Commercial Manager – HV and T&D Projects

Loughborough / Torquay - hybrid working

£75,000 - £85,000 + package

Fourblue are looking for an experienced Commercial Manager with strong NEC contract experience to join a forward-thinking engineering company who are innovative specialists in structural steel design, fabrication and installation, earthing, and mechanical installation for the UK T&D sector.

This is your chance to step into a key role, driving commercial performance while helping deliver projects that keep the UK powered.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Leading the commercial management of complex projects under NEC contracts.
  • Advising on contracts from the outset to ensure the best outcomes for all parties.
  • Keeping a close eye on costs, forecasting financial profiles, and protecting margins.
  • Managing change control, early warnings, and compensation events with confidence.
  • Building strong client relationships as the go-to commercial contact.
  • Driving timely applications, payments, and cashflow management.
  • Supporting tenders and bids with sharp commercial insight.
  • Producing clear, accurate reports that influence decision-making at senior level.
What We’re Looking For
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent)
  • 10+ years experience in a Quantity Surveying role
  • High level of experience in NEC contracts
  • Preferably experience seeing through similar projects end to end
  • Right to work in the UK
