Job summary

A global conference organiser is seeking a Senior Conference Sponsorship Sales Manager to drive revenue growth. You will be responsible for owning existing and launching new events, selling high-value sponsorships. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in conference sponsorship sales and a proven track record of exceeding £1m in personal billings. This role is a commercial position with no staff management requirements.

The Company

A mid-size fast-growing global conference organiser within the life sciences sector is looking for a Senior Conference Sponsorship sales Manager who will play a key part in their continued growth. They have a number of leading industry events and a friendly and collaborative culture.

The Role of Commercial Director

As Commercial Director you will take ownership of a number of existing and launch events, selling the usual mix of thought leadership, marketing/branding, exhibition and digital solutions. The conferences take place all over the globe and are within the life sciences sector.

This is a 100% commercial position, so you will not be managing staff.

Requirements for this Commecial Director role

  • 5+ years conference sponsorship sales experience
  • Personal billings of over £1m per year
  • Stable career history from established conference organisers
  • Confident, articulate and polished
  • Experienced in selling high value multi-event, multi-platform opportunities
  • Experience of selling to the life sciences sector would be desirable
