Overview

Commercial Assistant / Administrator — £28,000

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Assistant / Administrator to join our busy Commercial Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative and financial skills who is eager to play a key role in supporting commercial operations within a growing business.

Responsibilities
  • Maintaining financial spreadsheets to monitor the value of completed works.
  • Processing pre- and post-works assessments using survey data, property handover packs, and contract rates.
  • Liaising with site and operations teams to obtain timely and accurate pricing information.
  • Assisting with batching and processing subcontractor/supplier invoices and coordinating with Quantity Surveyors and Accounts.
  • Supporting Commercial staff with general administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications
  • Ideally experienced in a commercial team within construction, or financial administration.
  • Familiar with working in a sales or invoicing environment.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • An excellent communicator with strong attention to detail.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to prioritise workloads effectively.
  • Experience within construction, housing refurbishment, or related industries would be a significant advantage.
