• Lead budgeting and forecasting, working with departments to deliver accurate business plans.
• Collaborate with Group sales to support scenario planning for growth.
• Conduct financial analysis for new opportunities, evaluating short- and long-term returns.
• Create new reporting tools to enhance understanding of business performance.
• Contribute to finance and system transformation projects to improve reporting.

About You

We are looking for a finance professional with a strong track record in manufacturing or a similar commercial environment. You will have:

• 5+ years’ experience in a finance role
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Skilled in analysis with experience communicating insights to cross-functional teams
• Highly organised, proactive, and commercially aware
• CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified (preferred)

Your Responsibilities

• Always: Monitor financial performance and track actions to achieve strategic goals
• Prepare monthly reports with detailed commentary on company performance
• Analyse profitability to identify risks, opportunities, and support decision-making
• Ensure financial controls and compliance are maintained
• Often: Lead budgeting and forecasting, working with departments to deliver accurate business plans
• Collaborate with Group sales to support scenario planning for growth
• Assist managers on projects and engineering changes, tracking financial impacts
• Conduct financial analysis for new opportunities, evaluating short- and long-term returns
• Occasionally: Create new reporting tools to enhance understanding of business performance
• Contribute to finance and system transformation projects to improve reporting
• Never: Miss opportunities to make meaningful improvements to financial performance and reporting
