Job Description:

A highly regarded independent Commercial Broker is currently looking to add remote Commercial Account Handlers to their teams. They seek driven professionals with previous commercial insurance experience to support a diverse client base.

The Account Handler will support the Account Executive in managing client portfolios, including contract renewals. They will be the first point of contact for external queries and issues, requiring excellent client service skills.

This is a remote position with occasional office visits.

About the role:

• Deliver high-quality, efficient service to clients.
• Work closely with Account Executives to serve existing and potential clients.
• Handle clients of varying sizes, from small to large risks.
• Complete all documentation related to insurance placements, amendments, and renewals accurately and promptly.
• Promote a professional company image focused on customer satisfaction.

Key skills/experience required:

• Previous account handling experience in commercial insurance with relevant technical knowledge.
• Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent relationship-building skills.
• Experience with Acturis software.
• Ability to work under pressure and process large amounts of information quickly.
• Negotiation and influencing skills.
• Interest in progressing with CII qualifications is supported but not required.
