Job description

An opportunity to really make a difference to people's lives, while continuing in your own clinical career development. Providing high intensity CBT sessions on a 1-2-1 basis, you will treat clients referred from our insurance business who need support with their mental health and wellbeing. Working remotely, you will be a first point of clinical contact for people with potential mental health issues and concerns and you will provide a high quality, effective and safe mental wellbeing service across agreed sectors of care via MS Teams. You'll help us make health happen by:

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality Cognitive Behavioural Therapy or low-level brief interventions which demonstrates excellent clinical outcomes
  • Deliver comprehensive assessments and formulations that drive evidence-based intervention. Ensure a thorough assessment determines the most appropriate pathway of care and support for the client
  • Provide different models of service delivery including telephone or video consultation, depending on client preference
  • Adhere to Bupa's case management processes and work collaboratively with the Clinical Leads and wider therapy team
  • Adhere to sessional limits depending on the client's monetary allowance as determined by their Private Medical Insurance, whilst working towards therapeutic recovery goals
  • Provide a high quality, effective and safe mental wellbeing service across agreed sectors of care via MS Teams
  • Work remotely as the first point of clinical contact for people with potential mental health issues and concerns
Qualifications and Job Details
  • Full BABCP accreditation
  • At least 3 years' post-qualification experience in a similar role providing high intensity CBT interventions and managing own caseload
  • Integrative approach, more than one therapeutic modality (CBT plus other modalities, such as psychodynamic)
  • IT Skills including proficiency using Microsoft Systems as well as electronic medical record systems
  • Diverse and varied clinical experience to draw upon, able to work with a variety of clients, who present with mild-moderate mental health issues
  • Desirable - experience working with relationship issues
  • Ability to present to groups and deliver training workshops also preferred
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Permanent part-time (2 days a week – Wednesday and Thursday 08:30-17:30)
  • Salary: From £49,500 per annum (pro-rated for part-time)
