The successful candidate will excel in precision engineering, programming and operating 2 axis turning machines. Qualifications

• Proven time served experience in programming, setting and operating 2 axis turning machines.
• Ability to write new CNC programs long hand at the machine with little or no supervision.
• Excellent working knowledge of 2 axis CNC machines, cutting speeds and feeds.

Responsibilities

• Produce one-off and low to medium volume precision parts.
• Carry out in-process inspection using measuring equipment.
• Confidently work on parts up to 300mm x 3m in length.
