Overview

Mazco Recruitment Ltd - specialists in CNC talent - are seeking an experienced CNC Turner with strong expertise in long shaft work. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking engineering team where precision, consistency, and craftsmanship are key.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC turning machines to produce long shaft components (up to 10 meters in length)
• Machine components to tight tolerances, ensuring high levels of accuracy and quality
• Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Use steady rests to support and stabilize long shafts during machining
• Carry out in-process inspections using ultrasonic wall thickness gauges
• Work collaboratively with the production team to meet job deadlines and optimize workflow
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on CNC machinery
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and company procedures
