CNC Miller - Permanent Position
Location: Finedon Road Industrial Estate Wellingborough
Hours: Monday-Friday, 08:00-16:30

Salary: Starting at £37,440 per annum

We are seeking an experienced and motivated CNC Miller to join our client's growing precision engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a company that manufactures high-quality components for the aerospace, automotive, hydrogen, gas & oil, and food industries—and is now expanding into the F1 sector.

Role Responsibilities

You will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines to meet daily production requirements, including:

  • Programming CNC machines both online and offline
  • Setting and operating CNC milling machines
  • Using specific milling software such as CADCAM Suite or Edgecam
  • Reading and interpreting technical/engineering drawings
  • Working to tight technical specifications
  • Performing quality checks on manufactured components
Skills & Experience Required
  • Proven experience programming CNC machines (online & offline)
  • Ability to program, set, and operate CNC milling machines
  • Experience within the F1 sector is highly advantageous
  • Knowledge of HAAS and Heidenhain controls
  • Ability to operate 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Flexible and proactive attitude
