Position: CNC setter

Type of role: permanent

Salary: GBP36000 to GBP38000 per annum

Location: Quedgeley

Working week: Day shift 7am-4pm Monday to Thursday 7am-1pm Friday

We are now seeking to recruit a CNC milling setter operator to work for a subcontract machine workshop based in Gloucester.

Responsibilities

• Setting and operating CNC milling machines with Haas controls
• Setting and operating VF2, VF4, VF5, and UMC 500 machines
• Perform first-off inspections and complete quality documentation
• Leverage your machine shop experience to deliver top-quality results
• Use precision measurement equipment to ensure accuracy

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification of NVQ Level 3 or HNC
• Minimum of 5 years experience; 10 years preferred
• Understanding of G codes and M codes
• Experience on Haas machines
• Able to read and check parts to drawing
• Able to deburr competently
• Experience working in a subcontract environment
