Job summary

A precision manufacturing company in the East Midlands is seeking an experienced CNC Mill Turner to create complex metal components. The ideal candidate will have a strong precision engineering background and experience with multi axis CNC machines. You will work in a fast-paced environment and be responsible for machining parts to tight tolerances. This position offers a competitive salary of OTE £60k per annum and a permanent contract.

Qualifications

• Apprentice trained or minimum 3 years experience as a CNC Machinist.
• Experience working with Aluminium, Stainless Steel, and Titanium.
• Confident working with small to medium-sized components.

Responsibilities

• Create highly complex metal components using multi axis machines.
• Work alongside skilled engineering in a fast paced environment.
• Machine parts to tight tolerances.

EMBS Engineering are working in partnership with a leading global precision manufacturer who supply complex components to the Aerospace, Defence and Power industries. Due to recent fast paced growth of the business, our client is looking for CNC Mill Turners to join their experienced machining division.

As a CNC Mill Turner, you will be responsible for creating highly complex metal components using multi axis machines. You will be working alongside skilled engineering in a fast paced environment and used to working to tight tolerances.

What experience do you need?

• Strong precision engineering background
• Apprentice trained or minimum 3 years experience as a CNC Machinist - Milling, Mill Turn, Turn Mill, Turning or Grinding
• Experience setting and operating multi axis CNC machines
• Experience working with Fanuc or Mazatrol control
• Previous machined complex parts for precision industries including Aerospace, Motorsport, Nuclear, MOD, Oil & Gas etc
• Previously worked with Aluminium, Stainless Steel and Titanium
• Experience with machining to tight tolerances
• Confident working with small to medium-sized components
• Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings
