Job description

Were looking for a skilled Inspection / CMM Programmer to join our quality team, working on high-performance components including products within our F1 range . This hands-on role is key to ensuring the highest standards of dimensional accuracy, quality, and documentation throughout the inspection process.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out general inspection duties as directed by the Principal Inspector and as detailed on Product Inspection Requests (PIRs)

Verify supplier ISIRs (Initial Sample Inspection Reports), including dimensional, material, or process-related checks

Liaise with Engineering, SQA, and Quality teams to resolve product or supplier issues

Read and interpret engineering drawings to create ISIR documentation

Use hand measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometers, and shadowgraphs

Program CMM machines (Calypso or PC-DMIS software preferred) for F1 product inspections

Support the use of 3D scanning and surface finish equipment (experience desirable but not essential)

Maintain accurate and timely inspection records and documentation

Uphold high standards of housekeeping and contribute to continuous improvement across the business

Support other teams with measurement or quality-related issues as required

About You

Proven experience in an inspection or quality control role within precision engineering or automotive / manufacturing

Strong CMM programming skills ( Calypso or PC-DMIS ideal)

Confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings

Hands-on experience with manual measurement tools

Good communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally

Knowledge or experience of working with F1 or motorsport components is advantageous
