Clinical Research Assistant

We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised individual, with experience of working with mental health or dementia service users, to provide clinical trial support to the Research and Innovation team based at the Trust's research site at St George's Hospital, Stafford

Main duties of the job

The role supports mental health and dementia research, as well as research in other physical health specialty areas including vaccines and long-term conditions.

Job responsibilities

The role involves working alongside Research Nurses and Clinical Research Practitioners to support the recruitment of participants on to research studies from mental health inpatient wards and other clinical settings. The role also involves working on our mobile research unit. The successful candidate must have excellent communication and IT skills, and be able to travel across the Trust geography, and be willing to drive our mobile research unit.
