A prominent NHS trust in Greater London seeks a nurse specialist to join a dedicated team focused on Central Venous Catheter insertion for adult and teenage haematology and oncology patients. The role requires autonomous practice, expert clinical guidance, and the provision of education to patients and healthcare professionals. The post holder will work as one of a team of nurse specialists in providing expert and autonomous Central Venous Catheter insertion and follow up for adult and teenage haematology and oncology patients at UCH.
You will provide expert clinical, strategic, and leadership to a well-established team, including the pre-assessment of patients referred for central venous catheter insertion, expert insertion of central venous catheters while working within organisational guidelines, and deliver specialist education and information about central venous catheters for patients, carers, and colleagues.
