To be successful, you will

have...
  • Eligible for registration in the category of Registered Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.

  • Demonstrated understanding of cultural factors and social determinants particularly relating to Aboriginal health.
  • Demonstrated ability to function independently and as part of a multidisciplinary, multi sectoral and interagency team.
  • Current C Class Drivers Licence and an ability and willingness to travel including overnight stays away from home.

Profile :

The Clinical Nurse / Child Health Generalist is responsible for providing a specialised child health screening schedule and appropriate referral and support to parents to achieve the optimum state of health for individuals, families and communities with the emphasis in the area of Child Health.

Promotes and maintains a culturally responsive service and focuses on addressing health inequities.
