This part‑time role offers a unique opportunity to drive the adoption of innovative digital therapeutics within NHS Scotland. As Clinical Lead, you will act as a bridge between healthcare teams and digital health solutions, providing clinical guidance, building strong partnerships, and ensuring safe and effective patient outcomes. You will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to implement programs that align with NHS priorities, monitor real‑world outcomes, and advocate for the integration of digital therapies across primary care and other healthcare settings. This position allows for meaningful impact on the delivery of mental health care while shaping thought leadership in the field. Strong communication, clinical expertise, and strategic thinking will be key to success in this role.

Accountabilities
  • Develop and implement strategies for integrating digital therapeutics into NHS Scotland services, collaborating with Primary Care, ADTC, and Digital Mental Health teams.
  • Provide clinical guidance, educational materials, and training to healthcare professionals to support safe and effective use of digital therapies.
  • Lead real‑world evaluations and outcome measurement initiatives to assess program effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain a network of NHS referrers and clinical champions to drive adoption and engagement.
  • Act as a clinical safety escalation point in the UK, supporting risk management in partnership with medical leadership.
  • Represent digital therapeutics in thought leadership activities, including webinars, conferences, and written content.
Requirements
  • Current professional registration as a clinical pharmacist with 5+ years of NHS experience in Scotland.
  • Deep understanding of Primary Care workflows and ADTC processes.
  • Established network of colleagues across primary care and multidisciplinary healthcare roles.
  • Experience in introducing innovative products to clinical settings and driving adoption.
