Job Summary

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our Quality Governance Team, providing essential support to clinical teams across the organisation. As a member of the Clinical Governance Administration Support team you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality care by supporting governance processes, managing sensitive correspondence, and ensuring all documentation is handled with discretion and professionalism. You’ll be part of a proactive, forward-thinking team that works collaboratively to uphold the highest standards of safety, compliance, and clinical excellence.

Main Duties of the Job

To provide secretarial and administrative support to the Clinical Governance Team ensuring discretion and confidentiality at all times.

  • Operate efficiently and effectively, providing proactive administrative support and coordinating day‑to-day secretarial arrangements for the Clinical Governance Lead Nurse.
  • Serve as first point of contact, screening incoming calls from Health Board staff, members of the public and external departments or agencies, responding in a tactful and courteous manner, prioritising issues, making decisions concerning appropriate information disclosure and adhering to timescales.
  • Work closely with the Clinical Governance Team to ensure incoming calls are correctly triaged and directed appropriately to provide a high-quality response.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
