We are seeking a motivated Trust Fellow (SHO level) to join our busy and friendly Emergency Department at Musgrove Park Hospital. You will provide frontline assessment and initial management for adult and paediatric patients, under close consultant supervision. This is a non-training post with full access to departmental teaching, study leave and CPD activities.
Clerk and provide initial management of undifferentiated ED patients (adult & paediatric). Escalate and manage acutely unwell patients appropriately; ensure safe prescribing and accurate records. Participate in ED ward rounds, departmental governance, audits and quality improvement. Engage with teaching opportunities, CPD and study leave. Work a self-rosted rota over a 26‑week cycle (normal days, twilight shifts and nights).
