A prominent local healthcare practice in Reading is seeking a meticulous Clinical Coder to join their team. The role involves accurately assigning medical codes to patient records, processing correspondence, and assisting with medical forms. Ideal candidates should possess a clinical background, proficiency in IT, and strong attention to detail. This is a part-time, permanent position with a salary starting from £16.50 per hour, depending on experience. The practice is committed to quality care and continuous improvement.
The University Medical Group is a fast growing, forward thinking and progressive GP practice (rated Outstanding by CQC) with over 32,000 patients and we are looking to recruit a meticulous and detail-oriented Clinical Coder to join our team.
This is an opportunity for a highly self-motivated, 'can-do' individual. If you are able to work on your own initiative as well as communicate effectively in a team and enjoy working in a fast paced, busy environment, this may be the role for you.
Working Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 09:00 - 17:00 (22.5 hours per week) (salary dependent upon experience).
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in accurately assigning medical codes to patient records.
The practice has 63 staff members working at the practice consisting of 3 GP partners, 17 salaried GPs, 7 pharmacists, 1 pharmacy technician, 2 HCA's, 3 paramedics, 4 nurses, 1 nursing associate and 1 physician associate.
