Qualifications

  • Must be ACA or ACCA qualified.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team managing a diverse portfolio of clients across Yorkshire.
  • Build and maintain a bespoke portfolio including SMEs and larger structures.
  • Proactively monitor client needs and upsell services.
  • Produce and deliver year-end accounts with accurate taxation reviews.
  • Provide tax planning services and advice on notable schemes.
  • Develop personal development plans for team members.

This newly created Client Portfolio Manager position reflects significant investment as part of the firm’s ambitious five-year growth strategy, aiming to secure a place among the UK’s Top 100 accountancy firms. The successful candidate will lead a team of six and manage a diverse portfolio of clients across Yorkshire, playing a pivotal role in shaping service delivery.

Duties and responsibilities to include:

  • Build and maintain a bespoke portfolio of clients including SME’s, OMB’s and larger group structures

  • Proactively monitor client needs including upselling and cross-selling services

  • Deliver on your own portfolio including business development activity and attending client meetings

  • Ensure the accurate production and delivery of year end accounts including taxation reviews and submission of statutory accounts

  • Provide effective tax planning services where needed – including on advising on structures and other notable schemes

  • Lead and develop a small team including setting objectives and bespoke personal development plans

Person Specification:

  • ACA / ACCA qualified

  • Experience of working within Accountancy Practice

  • Experience of using Xero
