A housing association in Manchester seeks a Clerk of Works to ensure high-quality construction delivery. The role involves monitoring construction site progress, managing relationships with the project team, and ensuring compliance with building standards. Candidates should have an HNC level or equivalent in building, experience in construction, and strong organisational skills. A valid UK driving licence is necessary, as well as a commitment to working within diverse communities.
The Clerk of Works role will safeguard high quality construction by ensuring that contract documents and drawings are translated into buildings which meet the standards agreed by the Association. The Clerk will continually monitor on-site progress against programme, whilst maintaining good working relationships with the wider project team and consultants to deliver homes in line with Great Places' and Homes England commitments.
HNC level or other recognised building qualification
