Cleaning Manager - Loughborough

Exciting opportunity to join our team at the new National Rehabilitation Centre!

We are seeking an experienced Cleaning Manager to lead the delivery of facilities management services, ensuring operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and compliance with all relevant standards and legislation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the safe and compliant delivery of cleaning, logistics, car parking, and security services to high standards.
  • Promote a strong safety culture, ensuring all health & safety procedures, audits, and reporting are rigorously followed.
  • Build strong client relationships through clear communication, reporting, and effective problem-solving.
  • Recruit, train, develop, and manage a motivated team, ensuring performance and conduct meet contractual and company requirements.
  • Oversee budgets, resources, and schedules to deliver services efficiently and within financial targets.
  • Support cross-functional facilities management, including collaborating with catering teams and covering supervisory duties when needed.
  • Drive continuous improvement, compliance, and quality across all operations.
  • Act as a role model for professional standards and company values.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven management experience in cleaning or facilities services.
  • Strong knowledge of operational procedures, health & safety, and relevant legislation.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team development skills.
  • Financially aware with experience managing budgets and driving performance.
  • IT literate (Microsoft Office).
  • Good standard of education.

Desirable

  • Experience in logistics, car parking, or security management.
  • Level 3 Health & Safety qualification.
  • Experience managing multi-service operations.
  • Familiarity with service management systems.
  • Ambition to grow and develop further.
