A secondary school in the UK is seeking part-time Cleaners to join their Facilities Team. The role involves maintaining cleanliness throughout the school, with a flexible schedule covering term-time. Candidates should follow health and safety protocols and may have the opportunity for holiday work. Training is provided, and applicants are encouraged from diverse backgrounds.
Cleaners (Permanent) – Facilities Support Level A
17.5 hours per week (Flexibility available) £13.69 hourly rate. Term Time only, work 39, paid 45.05 weeks per year. NJC/LGA Scale 3 (Actual Salary SCP 7-8 £10,818 - £10,991 per annum) or Full Time, paid 52 weeks per year.
We are looking for cleaners to join an established team in maintaining high standards of cleanliness at this large secondary school. The team works in areas across a large and varied site, managed by a team leader. The duties include a wide range of general school cleaning and restocking and duties include some occasional lifting.

Blatchington Mill School expects all staff to adhere to a rigorous approach to health and safety and appropriate training is provided for all staff. The core hours are 3.30pm - 7pm Monday to Friday.
Most roles are term time only but there is the opportunity for holiday working as well. The full time salary for this role is £26,403 per annum, however for the part time role the salary will be prorated accordingly (as above), pay is the same each month of the year. The hourly rate for the post is currently £13.69.
