Are you looking for a cleaning role with great benefits?

We have an opportunity for you to join North Yorkshire Council working at one of our schools: Hambleton C of E Primary School, Gateforth Lane, Hambleton, Selby YO8 9HP. You will be a valued member of our team who will be reliable, dependable and have a strong work ethic.

Working for NYC as a Cleaner, you will be responsible for the cleaning duties on site including dusting, vacuuming and the cleaning of sanitary fittings. Full training will be provided, and the hours are between 15:30 – 18:42, totalling to 16 hours per week over 5 days. For this you will be paid £12.65 per hour.

No weekend work!

In addition to this, we can offer the Caretaker responsibilities of locking the site after cleaning, setting the alarm, ensuring the site is fully secure; and opening the site in the morning, cleaning the outside areas, doing the compliance checks and replenishing consumables. The hours are between 06:45 – 08:15 and 18:42 – 18:54. For this we will pay you £12.85- £13.47 per hour, based on 8.5 hours per week.
